Conflict of Interest editing

Hello - I am posting a link to Wikipedia:Conflict_of_Interest for reference on this page, as a number of accounts on this article seem to be making edits that read a bit like PR for the article's subject. Pertinent passages that should be taken under advisement:

"Conflict of interest (COI) editing involves contributing to Wikipedia about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial or other relationships."

"The Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require that editors who are being paid for their contributions disclose their employer (the person or organization who is paying for the edits); the client (the organization or person on whose behalf the edits are made); and any other relevant affiliation."

"If you have a close financial relationship with a topic you wish to write about – including as an owner, employee, contractor or other stakeholder – you are advised to refrain from editing affected articles. You may suggest changes on the talk page of those articles, where you should disclose your COI. You can use the {{request edit}} template to suggest changes."

Thanks for respecting this moving forward. BillsGhost (talk) 01:46, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notability, reliability and self sourcing

Too much of the language here is promotional and sourced directly from the center's website, which is a huge no-no.

Per WP:ABOUTSELF:

Self-published and questionable sources may be used as sources of information about themselves, usually in articles about themselves or their activities, without the self-published source requirement that they be published experts in the field, so long as:

1. the material is neither unduly self-serving nor an exceptional claim;

2. it does not involve claims about third parties;

3. it does not involve claims about events not directly related to the source;

4. there is no reasonable doubt as to its authenticity; and

5. the article is not based primarily on such sources.

This article is *very* self-serving, makes *many* claims about third-parties, makes lots of unverifiable claims, is is based *heavily* on these self sources.Stix1776 (talk) 09:46, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
