History
The article states that "In 1963, the DIA absorbed medical intelligence as a division in its production branch." According to the DIA's 2011 calendar celebrating their 50th Anniversary (1961-2011: Celebrating Our Legacy, Forging Our Future) on March 17 "1965: DIA added medical intelligence element." I didn't think a wall calendar a sufficient source to edit the article, but if anyone else has something that could substantiate the date, it would be useful.Eltrace (talk) 13:46, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Apparently there is some disagreement about when a predecessor agency was absorbed by DIA. I have added a reference to a document which appears to me to be reliable.
