Separate article for the ministers?

Frequently, articles on national government ministries focus on the functions of the ministry while lists of officeholders constitute separate articles. This doesn't seem to be universal, but very common. I suggest that we (interested editors) form a separate articles to list the actual ministers of state alongside their tenure in office.
