Outcome?
Despite an extensive discussion of other cases, there is no information at all about the outcome of this case following the Supreme Court ruling. Did FEPC finally hold a hearing for Logan? What was the result? 72.66.107.22 (talk) 11:28, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If I could have found out, I would have put it in, as I have when I have been able to find this out in other articles about SCOTUS cases (i.e., after Milkovich v. Lorain Journal Co. settled the question of whether opinion privilege existed in libel cases, the two parties settled rather quickly). Information like that is not always easy to come by ... newspaper archives from that era are more often offline than on, and honestly this isn't a case that one could imagine enjoying the intense interest of either the Sun–Times or the Tribune. As Justice Powell notes, the specific issue had been legislatively mooted by the time the Court heard it.
Possibly the business press in Chicago or Illinois had something on its ultimate disposition ... if someone knows where to look, that would be great. Daniel Case (talk) 19:21, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
