Public and private liberal arts colleges

Why isn't this broken into public and private (separately) like the other lists? DocOctopus (talk) 21:45, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non Profit Private Institutions

Why are non-profit private institutions broken into separate lists for colleges and universities? There's not a significant difference between the categories, and many of the schools that use "university" in their name are primarily undergraduate institutions that are "universities" in name only (in the sense that a university includes significant graduate programs and/or research).
