Move discussion in progress

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of mountain passes in Washington (state) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 22:34, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 4 July 2023

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. Only opposition seems to be a critique of the RM being opened, not of the actual proposed move. (closed by non-admin page mover) EggRoll97 (talk) 18:02, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

List of Washington (state) companiesList of Washington companies – As part of a follow-up to Talk:List_of_mountain_passes_in_Washington_(state)#Requested_move_16_June_2023, it does not make sense for this to have a parenthetical disambiguator when nothing exists at the base name, per WP:QUALIFIER. Of course there are companies in D.C., but enwiki does not have a separate list article about that topic, making the state the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. A WP:HATNOTE may link to Washington,_D.C.#Private_sector which discusses companies and has a hatnote to Category:Companies based in Washington, D.C. to serve users seeking a list of D.C. companies Mdewman6 (talk) 23:01, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It shouldn't, because there is List of companies of Georgia (country). I have created a disambiguation page over the redirect.Mdewman6 (talk) 18:48, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I have created a disambigution page at List of companies of Georgia and for now have boldly retargeted List of Georgia companies there. Though the country would more likely use demonym, Georgian, suggesting hatnotes would be sufficient, but that's for another discussion. Mdewman6 (talk) 18:51, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. I'm getting tiered of this endless amount of Washington and Georgia RMs instead of one or two big ones. This one is especially pointless. Gonnym (talk) 14:39, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
