Okay this has probably been discussed before but I need someone to explain this to me; why are the minor league cancuks listed on this page when clearly they are different teams?
The wikipedia vancouver canucks nhl page discusses;
"Three years later, another Vancouver group made a new presentation, and was awarded an expansion franchise for the price of six million dollars (four million dollars more than it would have cost in 1967). The new ownership group purchased the WHL Canucks, and joined the league along with the Buffalo Sabres for the 1970–71 season" (The other group not being the minor league vancouver canucks)
Am I missing something? Did the players from the minor league cancuks all jump up to the nhl in the first season? (which is a common link to argue the ottawa senators tracing back to 1883) Ottawa4ever (talk) 20:37, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
