Indio, CA

The city is 67% Hispanic said the 2010 US census, but estimates range up to 85% - seasonal populations show a fluctuation of Hispanics to be lower in the winter (snowbird residents) then higher in the spring and autumn (agricultural harvest). Parts of the city (census tracts) are as high as 96% (Old Town Indio) - 86% Mexican. Unincorporated West Indio is 72% Hispanic and also East Indio is 98% (parts of it are the Cabazon Indian Reservation). About 60-75% of Indio's population are of Mexican descent, again with the fluctuation during seasons. The area between I-10 and Indio Blvd. along Jackson Street is a barrio with a near-total Latino population, esp. Mexican-American and Central American immigrants. 67.49.89.214 (talk) 16:59, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is anyone watching this article?

It looks like it has been three years of edits by anonymous editors. Is it time to rollback or even delete? I am just wondering about the accuracy of all this added and changed information. Cheers, Fettlemap (talk) 05:56, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
