Josh Revak was recently on Reddit asking people to edit this page with information he'd like to add. Hopefully this will remind Josh that such actions go against Wikipedia policies. And hopefully this behavior will stop. Kingturtle = (talk) 08:02, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Care to offer any proof? I just Googled and found plenty of Reddit hits related to Revak, but nothing about this. I also went through the past two weeks of WP:RPPI and found nothing. All this does is further the notion that "what happens off-wiki has no bearing on what happens here" is all about protecting admins who use Wikipedia criticism sites as venues for battleground behavior. Hard to justify giving my time to a project which is so blatant in showing that different rules apply to different people. Also, care to elaborate on whether or not this information would be an improvement? The sources currently present in the article are pure garbage. His military career has received coverage in third-party sources. There are plenty of other things to be said about his political career which can also be sourced. I don't care about silly admin games. I care about whether we're delivering credible, useful information to readers on a topic. This article falls far short of that goal.
