Reference to Bishop Richards stature and Orpen portrait
The sentence beginning "Richards' stature..." needs explanation or clarification, and a citation. The "famous criticism" is presumably the description of Sir William Orpen's portrait of Cosmo Gordon Lang as making him look "proud, prelatical and pompous".
