John R Erickson born in 1943 or 1942?

This page says 1943. The Hank the Cowdog website says 1943. But Erickson is listed on wikipedia under 1942 births,'[births]'. That can't both be right? Also, link to author bio on that website is broken, the bio now resides there under 'Author'. CiconiaL (talk) 16:12, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
