The article says Joe was born and raised in Seattle. But Joe was a year behind me at St Patrick’s School when his family lived in Walla Walla. Maybe just a couple years? I know he was there a couple years around 1970-72ish. 6th, 7th maybe 8th grade. He was a good athlete all his life. Mostly I remember playing basketball with him.
