Talk:Henry Grey, 1st Duke of Kent

The genealogy of the article is somewhat strange. At Trent Park, Barnet EN4 0JY, England, there is the memorial obelisk to George Grey, Earl of Harold. The inscription reads "To the memory of the birth of George Grey Earl of Harold Son of Henry and Sophia Duke and Duchess of Kent. 1702."

This does not seem to accord with the dates given for the marriages of Henry Duke of Kent.

Style before/during 1702

What was he styled as his father's heir apparent? Previous heirs to Earls of Kent seem to used the style "Lord Ruthin" (based on the Barony of Grey of Ruthin, even though the 8th Earl was the last actually to hold that title) - was the same true here? And in the short period between succeeding his mother and succeeding his father, did he continue to use whatever courtesy title he was using, or did he switch to his substantive title as Lord Lucas?

(That last question may even be based on a false premise: we state here: "He succeeded his father as 12th Earl of Kent in 1702, having succeeded his mother as 2nd Baron Lucas earlier the same year." However, his father died on 19 August 1702, but we have his mother dying both on 1 November 1702 (the same year as his father, but a later date) and "in November 1700" (earlier than his father, but in a different year).
