This is still a stub it needs a lead and headings, seperate out things like Naval service, Family events. Who did he work for while a journalist in Spain, where was he, what did he write. Politics was he involved in anything notable, did he serve on any cabinets, or committees. Are there any images that can be used. Gnangarra 14:18, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The first sentence is a lead - the guy was not desperately important. The material falls neatly into chronological divisions (RN service, divorce, parliament), and so headings don't seem necessary - it flows well enough without them. I've been able to find exactly nothing on his activities in Spain - smart money says he wrote glowing articles about the Republicans, but that'd only be a guess. In parliament, he appears to have done nothing interesting - wrote the odd irritable letter, prosed a bit during the naval debates, been a fairly standard post-war backbencher for a safe constituency. Theres a fair number of links to this article, does a guy whos not desperately important need a full article. I agree the smart thing in Spain would have been to write glowing articles about the republicans, its one sentence is it needed. This ones a problem, maybe an image or two to enhance the article. Can his naval service be expanded? was he involved directly with the court case? Did he do anyhting for his local constituants thats notible, ie got some facilities put in his electorate anything?
