Two Launch Dates
Ok, so in the box under the picture, the launch date is given as 9 Nov 1911, which has to be right because that's from Conway's All the World's Fighting Ships, 1906-1921.
But belay that, because the text says the ship was launched on 30 Apr 1912, and THAT has to be right because it's from Colledge's Ships of the Royal Navy, which is like infallible, ya know?
Seriously, does anyone have any [good] ideas on what is the best source of data like this, and who should be believed in discrepant cases? I would dearly love to know.
