Relief of Ladysmith
Churchill mentions in "From London to Ladysmith via Pretoria", chapter XXI that Clery was succeeded by General Lyttelton in command of the 2nd Division during the final phase of the relief of Ladysmith - the Battle of the Tugela Heights. Further, he says in "Ian Hamiltons March" that Clery is back in command having recovered from illness. Now what that illness might be I have no idea but it would be interesting to find out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LameCat (talk • contribs) 13:03, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
