Disputed family

I note that IMDB (generally unreliable),IBDB and other databases of dubious reliability state she was a sibling of Antrim and Gertrude Short, and a child of Lew and Estelle Short. A 1946 newspaper obituary and brief death notice in Variety notes she was survived by a sister named Gertrude Short. However, primary records on Florence Short's FamilySearch page (registration required) indicates her parents were Henry Wilbur Short and Fannie M. Sperry, and that she married a Russell Pratt Hoyt in 1926. Her death certificate and other primary records indicate a sister named Gertrude, but this appears to be a Gertrude Cordelia Short.
