Merge proposal
Instead of being a standalone stub that gets barely any views, I think the content here should be merged into the articles Attara Kacheri and Cubbon Park. The statue is far more notable as a landmark within Cubbon Park than it is on its own. W. Tell DCCXLVI (talk to me!/c) 03:38, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not an expert in the subject area, but I would also agree with a merge for the exact same reasons. – GnocchiFan (talk) 12:33, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No need for a merge, sourced and a fine 1866 statue - although a mention, link, and image should be placed at the pages mentioned. Randy Kryn (talk) 14:31, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Most likely the article just needs to be expanded, not merged. ---Another Believer(Talk) 14:36, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Another Believer, good plan. There is actually more information at the subject's page, including a prank vandalism incident uncovered the day the statue was unveiled. Randy Kryn (talk) 14:46, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
