He was not of German descent
The Huguenots came to Germany around 1700. They more or less quickly "interbreeded" with Germans. Switzerland is a nation state of several ethnicities; Germans, French, Italians and mixtures of them. Writing that he was not of German descent is typical british anti-german rubbish. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.176.222.109 (talk) 13:42, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
