Wemyss Bay trains??

These edits have claimed connections between Edinburgh and Wemyss Bay trains. Wemyss Bay trains did not pass through the station, approaching Bridge Street/Glasgow Central from the Glasgow and Paisley Joint Railway. You can see this on the route map in the article. I have put an {{fact}} and an editors' note into the article. --Stewart^{(talk | edits)} 21:03, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Have now found the Glasgow Herald item from 1 July 1879. This identified through carriages to/from Edinburgh passing through the station to reach Bridge Street and then attached to Inverclyde line services. Reinstated and rephrased the paragraph accordingly. --Stewart^{(talk | edits)} 21:49, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
