Merging?
Has there been any discussion to merge this into a new article? If so, it should have been mentioned on this talk page. Generally, all railway stations, whether open or not, seem to be notable enough to have their own articles. — Tivedshambo (t/c) 09:43, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry for not discussing this first. I thought that since all the information about the actual station fits into a small paragraph, it is more helpful to readers to have everything about the line in one article. See Disused railway stations (Bristol to Exeter Line) for an example of where this works well. JonH (talk) 10:01, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- One advantage of having separate articles is that when there is a single

, in the page header, the article will appear as a link in websites like Google Maps. When they are just displayed in-line, this does not work.
