Talk:Duke of Buckingham

Why?

With regard to George Villiers, second duke in the 17th century line, it is stated that he died after digging for a fox in the house of a tenant. Did he really expect to find a fox in the tenant's house? Is "fox" a British euphemism for a WMD or something else? Did the tenant kill him in revenge for spoiling his floor? Or is this simply eccentric English aristocratic behavior? I am gobsmacked.

  • He was not digging in the house, he just died there. Mvdleeuw (talk) 05:30, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
