National Women's History Museum

Someone removed the Wikipedia page on the National Women's History Museum, Education & Resources. which was "Retrieved 27 February 2012" as a source of documentation.

To my thinking, a Wikipedia page on the National Women's History Museum likely was a resource which should not have been removed. MaynardClark (talk) 02:18, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

Make I make edits

Hello, I am a college student at R.I.T. I am taking American women's history and for one of our final projects, we must edit or add on to a wikipedia page. My chosen person was Dolores Huerta. I am writing to you guys to ask if it is okay that i add some facts about Dolores and her relationship with her mother as a young girl, some of the time spent with Cesar Chavez, and add some of her awards to the page? Please get back to me when you can.

Nevada Caucus Scandal

In the interest of avoiding edit war, here is a space for references to the Nevada caucus scandal, the first time Huerta has been in the news for a number of years. If you're interested in avoiding an edit war stop ... edit warring. This is a WP:BLP. This means that any contentious material needs to have pristine sourcing - only top notch sources and many of them. Neither is true in this case. Moreover, for BLP's, it's on the person wanting to add text to make their case. There's also a 3RR exemption for these who remove the offending text.

Alicia and Richard

I just noticed that Dolores' mother Alicia has the same surname (Chavez) as Richard with whom Dolores had 4 children.

Is this a coincidence or is there some kind of "10th cousin" kind of thing going on?

No names of grandparents are given for Juan or Alicia so perhaps that could be improved upon. WakandaQT (talk) 13:57, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
