Article Title Typo?

Shouldn't this be titled Crossflow filtration (no e) instead of filteration? Mbell 02:57, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Combine Entries?

This article should be combined with the article entitled "Tangential Flow Filtration". Would someone with Wikipedia experience please suggest this? Thanks. Madscientwist (talk) 20:10, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed - there is no information in Tangential Flow Filtration that can't be quickly added to this article. The two processes are one and the same. I'll make "TFF" a redirect to here once I've added the extra information. Wikiwayman (talk) 09:34, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal posted on TFF page. I've had a good look at the references on TFF, and this one contains the sentence "TFF is also commonly called cross-flow filtration" in its introduction. It is a good general reference document, so I'll add it to this page. Wikiwayman (talk) 13:06, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Direct Crossflow Filtration

An edit was made to this article to add "Direct Crossflow Filtration". After conducting a literature review, I could not find any articles that described this. What I found is that articles with similar terms used "direct filtration" to contrast with "crossflow filtration". Direct crossflow filtration is therefore a very confusing term, like a "Diesel Steam Engine". It might be possible to arrange a system that sequentially changed between these modes, but that was not what was described in the new section. Wikiwayman (talk) 12:44, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
