Cowboys and Aliens and Cowboys & Aliens are unrelated, separate articles. Perhaps a disambiguation page is in order? StevePrutz (talk) 21:04, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline for film in development

Variety provided a useful timeline which could be used in a "Film adaptation" section or the film article (if it does begin production). Wanted to share that here. Erik (talk | contribs) 13:39, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Big Empty

Am i seriously the only person in all of Interetania to have thought there may be some connection between this and "The Big Empty"? aside from thematicaly this movie's title being mentioned passively in that movie... Is that weird? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.13.212.7 (talk) 16:52, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Far Side by Gary Larson

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Far_Side http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Larson

A certain "The Far Side" cartoon showed a wild west cowboy-type fleeing on horseback from flying saucers. The cartoon's caption was something like, "The often romanticized notion of cowboys versus aliens". Does anyone know if the graphic novel was inspired by Gary Larson's cartoon? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.17.201.126 (talk) 02:07, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have the same question anyone out there know if there is a link between these two? 165.112.60.201 (talk) 15:10, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You can see the cartoon here. (Emperor (talk) 02:34, 20 March 2011 (UTC))[reply]
1996 comic "The often romanticized image of cowboys and aliens" published on the Far Side website here is very similar to the graphic novel's cover art. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.57.43.108 (talk) 13:36, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
