Moving the page
Shouldn't we move this page to Cook County Road 12 (Minnesota)? It is the road's official designation after all.72.2.214.33 (talk) 15:44, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Renaming the page is fine with me, as long as there is a redirect from "Gunflint Trail", since that is by far the most common name of this road. -- BlueCanoe (talk) 21:49, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Moving "Ham Lake Fire" text
I propose to move the "Ham Lake Fire" section into its own article, and then link to it. Any objections? -- BlueCanoe (talk) 21:49, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Date established
Since the MPR News article indicates that "county officials improved the road" in the early 1890s, does that make for the date (circa) it was established? I doubt it was "County Road 12" at the time, but it would seem that it became a county-maintained road at that point. --Sable232 (talk) 01:33, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
