Field of the Cloth of Gold
"He is known to have accompanied his father and brothers on many ceremonial occasions, including the The Field of Cloth of Gold, where Henry VIII of England is said to have taken a "particular fancy" to the 10-year old boy."
The Field of the Cloth of Gold took place in 1520, a year and a half before Charles was born. He can't possibly have been present. Has there been a mix-up between the Field of the Cloth of Gold and Henry VIII's trip to France with Anne Boleyn in 1532? Did Charles meet Henry VIII then?193.95.162.29 (talk) 12:14, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
