Eidot or Edot?

See (and join) the discussion on the Camp Ramah talk page on this issue.

Someone who has good reason for one form of transliteration over the other might make the appropriate change across all the Camp Ramah articles. Right now they differ, and people are RVing each other (as on the Camp Ramah in California article page).

Right now Camp Ramah publications use both forms of transliteration. For example, eidah is used at [1], [2], and [3]. But edah is used at [4], [5], and [6].--Epeefleche 20:57, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV/Ad

This page is almost entirely written like an advertisement for the camp. Plus, there is a lot of unencyclopedianic content, like the part about a counselor "notorious for smelling good." I think this article needs massive cleanup.Smartyshoe 12:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have taken another look at this page. Ed Gelb's section is very anti-him. It was obviously written by a camper. Smartyshoe 12:10, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree there was POV which was properly deleted. I will look for other POV, and delete as appropriate. There is nothing advertisement-like about the article, though.--Epeefleche 15:46, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Took out POV material -- including the smelling good reference, which though mentioned above was not deleted.--Epeefleche 15:59, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
