Talent and Desiro
Is it just me, or do these trains bear an uncanny resemblance to Siemens's Desiro DMUs?
- Bombardier's Talent, Siemens's Desiro (continental version), Alstom's Coradia Lint, and several other trains from smaller manufacturers are all designed for much the same goals, and so share a similar appearance as well. (The Talent, however, predates the Desiro by several years. :-) ).David Arthur (talk) 14:27, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
‘North American version’
It seems to me that this article now gives undue prominence to the Talent’s use in North America, given that there are only three units in the entire continent, and they are identical to the German model apart from a few stickers and a lock on the toilet door. Is it really necessary to repeat Ottawa’s operational information on this page? David Arthur (talk) 15:05, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
