Death

I think it's worthy to note this guy who wrote and sang the huge and much beloved hit Sunny in the 1960's, died the day after a huge solar eruption after the sun was dormant over more than a decade. The sun was sleeping and the solar eruptions were directed towards earth. Someone removed this information of the timing of Mr. Hebb's passing with this anomaly event and I disagree noting it was a "gimmick". The sun does not pull marketing events or publicity stunts for the purpose of dying singers who sang about it. I think it's worth noting because singers and musicians are often in touch with much deeper things about the universe and cosmos then the average person is aware. So, please don't remove this section I added. Thank you. --Brainchannels (talk) 14:28, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is nonsensical. Please stop adding this. It will be reverted. Although it has made me smile. I think there has been evidence that the Sun flared every time an great cover version was recorded though. Gareth E Kegg (talk) 15:09, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cover versions

Didn't Stevie Wonder cover "Sunny" as well? TamYum 22:08, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

EVERBODY covered Bobby Hebb's classic, including-allegedly-GOD,and Satan (except the former referred both himself AND the subject in the first person). R.I.P. Mr. Hebb, and thank you, sir. 75.193.105.41 (talk) 14:28, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Veryverser[reply]

Birth date

Born in 1941 (not 1938) according to allmusic and Billboard. -- Harro 21:51, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But, 1938 is quoted by [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], etc. There is clearly no concensus - not that unusual for musicians !
