"the conscience of the Republican Caucus"

Is there any actual evidence that he's been called this by anyone other than himself? 24.214.230.66 (talk) 22:33, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed self-published material you refer to from lead WP:SPS, WP:BLP, WP:LEAD. Welcome. Veriss (talk) 00:29, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

reverted Libya material

I reverted the new section with the Libya quotes because it gave undue weight to this one of his numerous malapropisms (doesn't really need its own section), and was unreliably sourced to a blog. It was also a confusing paraphrase of his actual words. A shorter direct quote in a prior section might work. Jonathanwallace (talk) 05:15, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Family and Death

Does anyone have a link to his family circumstances at the time of his death? The obituary implies that he had been dead in his home for as long as four days before his body was discovered by an unrelated friend. Some time ago I read an unverified comment that he was alienated from his nuclear family and had been for several years. Charles L. Smith (talk) 01:01, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
