This first paragraph asserts that the lock dates back to the original construction of the Erie Canal, in 1833. However, Black_Rock_Lock#Black_Rock_Lock_history says the lock was constructed in 1908-1913.
Black Rock Canal redirects here. If there is going to be just one article, why shouldn't it be about the canal, not its terminal lock? Geo Swan (talk) 05:10, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
