Other sect
The Methodist Bible Christians should not be confused with another sect of the same name which arose from a schism within the Swedenborgian New Jerusalem Church in 1809.
Bryant and marriage
There was an article Bible Christians (now redirected) which contained the claim William Bryan- a Methodist preacher who fel out with the Methodist Movement over whether or not a travelling preaher, such as he should marry. [sic]. I can't independently verify that detail; someone else may be able to check. David Brooks (talk) 20:23, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Encyclopaedia Britannica 1911 article
EB1911 has more detailed information on the sect, naturally written from the perspective of that time so care may be needed with the context and POV. I scanned it to Wikisource. Anyone with a little more knowlege and interest can use it as a basis for expansion. David Brooks (talk) 21:44, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Propose renaming to Bible Christian Connexion
Bible Christian Connexion seems to be the name of the group, according to William O'Bryan - cf. this reference to O'Bryan, William, The Rise and Progress of the Bible Christian Connexion, BCAM 2:4 (1823) 113-114, 3:9 (1824) 296. Alsi this. --Tagishsimon (talk) 09:41, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
