His obituary in "The Stage" indicates that by the end of his time as an HMI he was in charge of inspection for drama. both in schools and in higher education.Delahays (talk) 20:19, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
Probably worth mentioning that he was an Oxford graduate (Balliol) who appeared in an early post war OUDS "Love's Labour's Lost" with a cast including, among others, Kenneth TynanDelahays (talk) 12:35, 3 March 2021 (UTC).
