image issue

There are a number of problems with this page. First, there are multiple Bear Lakes in Alaska. Also, the Aurora Borealis picture is no where even near Seward.

Bear Lake is not shown on the map in this article. -- Beland 04:54, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the image. Dread Pirate WestleyAargh 02:10, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Another editor added it back in, and it took quite a while for this error to be caught again. The image description clearly indicates this is a different Bear Lake, all the way up at Eielson Air Force Base. Anyone who has actually been to Seward could tell this photo was not taken in that area, and the northern lights are very rarely that bright so far south. • Argh, it was added back again, four days later. I have removed it again and watchlisted the article, and added a hidden comment in the infobox to try and stop this from creeping back in yet again. Beeblebrox (talk) 04:54, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed I finally made it over to this lake with my camera, and have added an actual picture of this Bear Lake. Beeblebrox (talk) 07:15, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Facepalm Facepalm and...it's come back again, this time with the added bonus of creating a "gallery" section for just this one image. And I missed it and it took a long time to get seen again. I've removed it again and crafted an edit notice that may help curb this decade-long recurring issue. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:00, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Title

If the article is primarily about a lake, the usual title form would be "Bear Lake (Alaska)" (WP:LAKES#Multiple_lakes_with_the_same_name). -- User:Docu at 01:10, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
