Victor Romanovich Rosen
I have just done what I hate to do, and turned a blue link red. The article stated that General Tumansky corresponded with E. G. Browne through Baron Rosen, Victor Romanovich. "Baron Rosen" was blue-linked to a Russian diplomat (but not orientalist), Roman Romanovich Rosen. Victor Romanovich Rosen, born two years later, was possibly his brother. There is an article on him in the Great Soviet Encyclopedia http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/Viktor+Romanovich+Rozen but we do not have sufficient information on their respective families to see whether they are even related. I hope someone will create an article on V. R. Rosen. J S Ayer (talk) 19:33, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
According to http://forum.alexanderpalace.org/index.php?topic=2015.0 the two were brothers. J S Ayer (talk) 17:16, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
Name, Old Style
If I can find it (may take a while), I will add the old-style form of Tumansky's name in Russian. J S Ayer (talk) 02:02, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
