Expansion

Humorous statements

Sometimes, an acknowledgement does not fit into either of the six categories used by Cronin et al., unless in a humourous fashion. An example is

B.J.H. would also like to thank the U.S. Immigration Service under the Bush administration, whose visa background security check forced her to spend two months (following an international conference) in a third country, free of routine obligations—it was during this time that the hypothesis presented herein was initially conjectured.

Merge proposal

Credit (creative arts) -> Acknowledgment (creative arts and sciences)

Both of these are low traffic pages made in 2005. They both cover the same concept, but one is just for creative arts and the other includes that and more. We only have content for one article, so merging is best. Bluerasberry (talk) 19:04, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
