Discrepancy

The article says that Leahy filed paperwork. I do not see a record of that in the link provided. Election Tron (talk) 13:05, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

External links

Why is Peter Welch the only candidate with an external link to a campaign site? Either it should be none or all of them (assuming they have one). --SVTCobra 00:46, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because he's the only one here who's considered to be "declared", instead of "filed paperwork". twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 01:13, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"Probably" or is that policy/guideline for elections? I usually try not to touch anything about elections. --SVTCobra 02:02, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There's no official policy/guideline on this, as far as my observation goes. However, from how editors, especially more experienced ones, touch on this topic, I conclude that "declared" candidates, ie. those who have been covered by reliable sources, are the only ones who are actually candidates. Those who have only filed paperwork are not considered to be candidates as, for example, they may have not had a campaign just yet; thus, by extension, their websites are not listed as it's a list of real candidates only, so to speak. I hope this is clear enough. twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 02:16, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Errors

Malloy beat Welch in Essex county by 6 votes. The map needs to be updated. Per: https://outside.vermont.gov/dept/sos/Elections%20Division/election%20info%20and%20resources/elections%20results%20and%20data/2022%20GE%20Candidate%20Vote%20Totals%20for%20Website.xlsx
