Hardeman County
@Jerry Steinfield: regarding my reversion of your edit. Wikipedia's policy is that all material must be verifiable. I can only presume that your edit summary, "Just taking a minor glance at the vote history...
", refers to the table at Hardeman County, Tennessee. But Wikipedia is not a reliable source. There needs to be an independent reliable source for this fact, preferably one that establishes due weight. And if you follow the citation in the county article, you will find that the historical county information is not readily available. --Spiffy sperry (talk) 15:17, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
County results table
There has been disagreement (edit warring) on the county results table. One editor wants a better format. Another cites MOS:NAVBOXCOLOUR, ease of reading, and less code as reasons to not make these changes. Feel free to discuss these issues here. --Spiffy sperry (talk) 19:46, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- I would like to apologize for reverting too many times, I got carried away. I fail to see how the new table is an improvement. It's longer, adding heft to the article, without making it easier to read. glman (talk) 19:28, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

- "Don’t ever undo this edit again" is concerning to me. This user has very few edits and had made similar changes to several states without clear explanation. glman (talk) 20:57, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- Feel free to ignore that command; there is no basis for it. It is evidently someone unfamiliar with Wikipedia policies. I also noticed similar changes from this and other IP addresses in recent weeks to many 2020 election articles. I assume it is the same editor and the IP address changes periodically, so there is not a good history to follow. --Spiffy sperry (talk) 21:28, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

- Hey! @Spiffy sperry I think the newer version is superior, but I don't mind the older version either. The only issue that I have is if we go back to the older version, Tennessee will be the only article to have the older version now. We would have to undo all of the tables to the older version for every single election article, which I find is too tedious and worthless. I think we should just keep it how it is GatewayPolitics (talk) 17:44, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Not to mention that this table is used for the majority of election articles as a whole, I've noticed a few of these tables in gubernatorial and senatorial elections and even previous presidential election pages GatewayPolitics (talk) 17:50, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
