Protection is a 1929 American sound pre-Code drama film directed by Benjamin Stoloff and written by Frederick Hazlitt Brennan. The film stars Dorothy Burgess, Robert Elliott, Paul Page, and Joe Brown. While the film has no audible dialog, it was released with a synchronized musical score with sound effects using both the sound-on-disc and sound-on-film process. The film was released on May 5, 1929, by Fox Film Corporation.[1][2][3]
