Malnava, also spelled Malnova, is a village and the parish center of Malnava Parish in Ludza Municipality, Latvia. It is located in the central part of the parish on the P50 road 30 km (19 mi) from Ludza, and 276 km (171 mi) from Riga.
Malnava has developed around the Malnava Manor (Małnów[2]). During World War II, the Wehrmacht had a headquarter in Malnava. In July 1941, Adolf Hitler visited the village during a conference with other Wehrmacht officers.[3][4]
