Notes
Many communities including Mayfield West, Wildfield, and Bolton were developed thanks to their prime location being near Brampton and Vaughan, offering many different infrastructure and public humanitarian services.
By 2051, Caledon is expected to have a population of 300 000 people, with most of the development happening in the same areas, absorbing the localities of Alloa, Tullamore, Sandhill and Wildfield into a new urban centre, with a corridor dedicated to the planned Highway 413. Other developments would happen in Alton, Belfountain and Caledon East.[23]
These communities used to be part of historical areas of Peel County such as Chinguacousy Township, Caledon Township, and the Albion Township.[24]
