Leonardo Valdés Zurita is a Mexican scholar who currently served as president of the National Electoral Institute (previously Federal Electoral Institute). He grew up in Mexico City. From February 2008 to October 2013, he was the last President of the Federal Electoral Institute (IFE).[1]
