Layalestan (Persian: ليالستان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Layalestan Rural District of the Central District of Lahijan County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,851 in 558 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,831 people in 597 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,601 people in 616 households.[2]
