Kumasi High School, often referred to as KUHIS, is a category A boys' senior high school in the Ashanti region of Ghana. It was established in 1962, by S. K. Amoah. The school is regarded as one of the best senior high schools in Ghana and the best business school in Ghana. They are the reigning champions of the inter-school soccer competition in the Ashanti Region, the current champions of Luvfm High School Debate beating rivals Prempeh College in the finals. They are also the maiden champions of the USA Ambassador business quiz and the 1st runners-up in the Ashanti Regional Science and Maths quiz. They have produced several alumni. The students are known collectively as Mmerantee(Gentlemen).[1][2]
