Jowkar District (Persian: بخش جوکار) is in Malayer County, Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Jowkar.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 52,445 in 12,332 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 50,487 people in 13,875 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 37,046 inhabitants in 11,326 households,[2] by which time Tork-e Sharqi Rural District had been transferred to the Central District.[6]
