Jagbir Singh Malik

Jagbir Singh Malik is a member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from the Indian National Congress representing the Gohana Vidhan sabha Constituency in Haryana.[1] He is the son of renowned lawyer and political figure Ch Fateh Singh Malik. He has been a minister in the cabinet of Chief Minister Ch Bansi Lal (1996) and looked after Horticulture and Technical education department. In 2019 he defeated Raj Kumar Saini of Loktanter Suraksha Party by a margin of 4152 votes and was elected to the legislative assembly for the 5th time.
He has a reputation of a politician with impeccable character and no nonsense personality.
He has a degree in law from Delhi University and practiced law prior to joining the politics.
