Gregory Steven Gonzalez (born September 28, 1982)[1][2][3] is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, known for being the frontman for the band Cigarettes After Sex.
Life and career
Gonzalez started playing music at the age of 10, after buying his first guitar and immediately starting to write songs, which eventually led to him creating his first song, "The Ocean", which was an instrumental. He also tried creating songs with Casio keyboards in his house,[4] joined a metal band and also experimented with jazz music.[5]
In 2008, Gonzalez would form Cigarettes After Sex in his hometown. Four years after their formation, they released their debut EP I.[2]
In 2022, Gonzalez released Charm of Pleasure, a collaborative EP with Italian composer Daniele Luppi, which was supported by two singles; "You Never Loved" and "The Rose You Kept."[6][7][8]
