Fadlo R. Khuri (Arabic: فضلو خوري), is a medical doctor and university administrator. He is the 16th and current president of the American University of Beirut. He assumed office in September 2015[2] and was inaugurated on January 25, 2016.[3] Khuri was also a professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine and was the editor-in-chief of the medical journal Cancer.[4]
Khuri was formerly executive associate dean of research and chair of the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University's School of Medicine. He also served as deputy director of the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.[4]
