Cotrifazid is a treatment and prophylaxis for malaria consisting of a multiple complex combination of rifampicin, isoniazid, sulfamethoxazole, and trimethoprim.[1]

Clinical study

This medication has been deemed an adequate treatment, however further evaluation indicated that mefloquine and the combination of quinine with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine was more effective against certain cases of malaria[2][3]
